Michael has more than 46 years' experience underwriting and managing Property, Liability, Construction, Motor and Financial lines portfolios in CEO, Chief Underwriter and National Underwriting Manager roles for NZI, Royal SunAlliance, Vero, Calliden, Austagencies, Australian Bus and Coach Underwriting (ABCU), 360 Construction and Ensurance Underwriting. Michael has been a Coverholder at Lloyd’s since 2013.

Michael's focus is currently managing various binders in their start-up phase, exercising underwriting control, oversight, and stakeholder management ensuring positive binder outcomes with our underwriting partners.

Matt brings over 30 years underwriting and claims experience across the insurance industry with extensive experience across Commercial Lines, Liability and Commercial Motor Insurance.

Matt's most recent role for the past 15 years was as National Manager of Australian Bus and Coach Underwriting were he led and developed a team dedicated to the Bus & Coach Insurance sector, whilst managing the underwriting and control of a significant portfolio of highly profitable business. Matt’s previous roles include claims management, business development and underwriting management roles with extensive experience servicing intermediated business.

Tony has over 20 years' experience in insurance, working in both Claims and Underwriting, holding senior management positions in domestic and commercial insurance products. Tony has been extensively involved in the bus and coach industry for the last 11 years. Having joined Gard Bus and Coach in 2025 his role is to continue to bring unparalleled levels of industry knowledge, underwriting and claims expertise to ensure the successful development of the business. Tony is passionate about this industry and revels in bringing the best products to the market along with high levels of service and attention to his customers.

Tony's previous roles have included National Claims Manager at Australian International Insurance Limited (AIIL, OAMPS), National Builders Warranty Claims Manager (AIIL), Commercial Fleet Client Services Manager at Lumley Insurance, State Manager ACT at Lumley Insurance, and Manager, Branch Network, at Wesfarmers Insurance.
